CGA OJ Eagles retained their title as Champions when they crushed Western Province 7 – 3 on the final day of the Telkom SA National Water Polo Championships. It was the very talented Etienne Le Roux who scored four of the seven as Eagles took the trophy home again, while Joao De Carvalaho and Nardus Badenhorst also scored.

After missing a penalty, Pierre Le Roux made up by scoring the last goal of the match. Western Province played a phenomenal match but their strong attacks were stopped short by the skilled Eagles goal keeper, Dwayne Flatscher.
